Abstract

Debate about the reasons for the EU crisis and the role of history in it. The discussion hinges on the relationship between the politics of memory set up in Western Europe since 1991, which focuses on the Holocaust and the paradigm of the civil victims , and the changing role of the nation-State from the end of the Cold war until today.
