Abstract

Piaget and Kohlberg explained us how the moral development proceedes according to a stage process. Nevertheless this does non answer the final question: "Why to be moral?". The ethos of the individual and philosophy are grounded on the answer to this question, producing in the men the never-ending and unceasing thinking on him/her self, that gives the dignity of an aware moral choice to him/her.
