Abstract

Toxicity supports a bitter taste discomfort that spreads across disorders, pain, resentment, regret. This study aims to identify the forms and doses in the writing of contemporary extreme, where the presence of plants - natural source of bitter and deadly strategy already consolidated - puts to the test the literary effects. Poisonous or carnivorous, the romantic plants of Chloe Delaume and Olivia Rosenthal questioned the tendency to revegetate the narrative scurrilous situations without sinking into the decorative antidotes.
