Abstract

ICT in and for higher education and lifelong learning was the central issue of SIREM 2013 National Conference. The scientific meeting was held on November 14th and 15th 2013 in Bari, Italy and this volume was born in order to collect and present the work of the conference days. The volume is supported by the Scientific Society and edited with the cooperation of the University of Foggia and the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”. The conference opened an interdisciplinary debate on the role of technology in higher education and lifelong learning, offering an in-depth reflection on new strategies for instructional design, innovative teaching methods and approaches, effective systems for assessment.
