Abstract

This essay exposes the main transformations of the contemporary man in the context of the cosmopolis. This turning point in history claims a work with many voices, aimed at producing a hybrid paradigm in order to exploit the contributions of all scientific disciplines with a view of global studies. This “encyclopaedic” method, proposed by Marcel Mauss, in the history of philosophy could be considered an epistemological enlargement of the “intellectual history”.
