Abstract

Speaking of gentrification means speaking interculturalism. Because it is a process of urban renewal, the gentrification is epistemologically supported by an approach in which the design, the organization and the management of interventions in urban areas must take into consideration the cultural effects. About the trasformation of the social morphology, it's important consider that the evaluation of the socio-cultural aspects is necessary condition without which the process of gentrification can't be accomplished and anyway will not make sense. For these reasons, we can assert that interculturalism is the backbone of the whole process of gentrification
