Abstract

Since the global financial crisis started in 2008, a debate has gained momentum on rethinking global economic governance - and especially IMF and World bank - to increase legitimacy and efficency, prevent further crises, restoring growth. A number of institutional evolutions have been a direct outcome of the crisis, other reform proposals have unfortunately still to be considered as the process seems to have lost momentum. In this chapter all the possible reforms are analysed, whith all the related advantages and disadvantages.
