Abstract

Report on the discoveries done by the Soknopaiou Nesos Project of the University of Salento (Lecce, Italy) during the 2003-2009 seasons. The survey of the dromos and of the surroundings have been exposed as well as of the excavation inside the main temple area. The temple of the god Soknopaios is under excavation since 2004 and several objects and monuments have been recovered. The building is preserved only at the ground floor. Crypts were found below floor in some side chapels and the staircases giving access to them were also excavated.
