Abstract

The invention concerns a composition comprising diosmectite and decaffeinated green tea extract. Preferably, said composition comprises also Bacillus clausii spores, and it is preferably in the form of a powder. The composition has good palatability, it is easy to prepare and it resulted to be effective in the treatment of viral and bacterial gastrointestinal disorders, including intestinal flu, food poisoning, also deriving from contaminated seafood, and traveller's diarrhea.
